Single-plaque psoriasis: a single-clue diagnostic challenge

Abstract Introduction : Psoriasis is a chronic, common immune inflammatory condition of the skin, affecting 2-3% population, with regional variability. Classically, psoriasis presents as one following types: plaque, guttate, inverse, pustular or erythrodermic psoriasis. Typically, patient will present several symmetric psoriatic plaques on typical areas body, leading clinician towards diagnosis Case report The case series focuses an atypical presentation noted in 2 patients who presented to our office single large, erythematous plaque located lower leg. Due poor response previous treatment, biopsy was performed and upon analysis, revealed lesions showed significant improvement under local therapy.
